As a family-run gym, originating from an overcrowded garage, here at New U Functional Fitness we pride ourselves on being a friendly community of like-minded people that want to have fun and get fit!
We provide a space for you to workout at anytime of the day or night, and we are on hand to give any advice or support whenever you need it.
We offer a weekly Coached Group Session where you can learn new techniques and have fun working out with others.
We offer a members' WhatsApp group and private Facebook group to keep you motivated and keep you abreast of any news/changes. You can also link fitness trackers to this website, plus Strava and Myzone. By joining our Members' Area you will have access to: forum, challenges, blog posts, recipes, on demand service and much, much more.
We hold a Monday evening group session (5:30pm), whereby you can join others in learning weightlifting techniques followed by a conditioning workout. If you're unsure about what to do when you come into the gym on your own, these group sessions will increase your confidence and act as an induction to the equipment.
More InfoNew U FF owner, Keri, is a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer. She is an expert in exercise for menopausal women, and also holds certificates in programming exercise for pre- and post-natal women, instructing weightlifting and nutritional therapy. We also have Leanne Singleton Health and Fitness working from the gym. Leanne is a qualified Sport & Exercise Coach and has a BA (Hons) in Outdoor Education.
